Draft programme and exclusive merchandise – Cycle Touring Festival

We are working hard to finalise the schedule for the virtual Cycle Touring Festival and are aiming to release the final programme this weekend.  We will also open bookings for live webinars then – keep an eye out for the next newsletter.

We’ve pulled this event together in just three weeks, and are of course limited by technology, so it won’t be as packed as our usual programme.  However, we hope you will still find something to interest you – and give you something to dream about while trapped at home.  Take a look at what is on offer here

Thanks so much to all our speakers and behind-the-scenes volunteers who are giving up their time and sharing their knowledge, for free.  The festival is built entirely on the goodwill of speakers and volunteers and we are immensely grateful to them all.

Exclusive CTF merchandise

In other exciting news, we have just released the first ever Cycle Touring Festival t-shirts, available to buy here.  These are made from salvaged organic cotton waste cuttings blended with recycled plastic bottles, and hand screen printed in Kendal using eco-friendly water based inks.

Even more importantly, all profits from the sale of t-shirts will go to the National Emergencies Trust Coronavirus Appeal.  This distributes funds to local charities across the UK, to help those people who have been most affected by the coronavirus pandemic.

T-shirts cost £20 each (including P&P) and at least £5 from each sale will go to charity.  The more t-shirts we sell, the cheaper they are for us to buy, and so the more money from each sale goes to charity.

Buy your t-shirt here.

We are also hoping to release some exclusive branded stem caps – watch this space.

Alternatively, you can donate to the National Emergencies Trust Coronavirus Appeal here.  We organise the festival in our spare time as volunteers, and this year everything is free to take part in.  It would be wonderful if you could reward our hard work by making a donation, however small.

Stay well,
Laura & the festival team
